KB937143KB938127KB936782KB938123 DescriptionThe August 2007 patches for Windows Vista are listed below. They fix many security holes in Windows Vista - including problems listed as critical.
Important note: In August 2007, Microsoft released a complicated update involving the Microsoft XML Core Services files. The correct patch to apply depends upon: the version of the XML Core Services installed (there are four different releases) and the version of Windows and/or Microsoft Office installed on your computer. All up, there are over 30 possible combinations and around 20 different patches for this single problem. Consequently, we have linked to the Microsoft support document that gives further details, rather than supplying download links for the ridiculous number of patches involved. Click on the last item in this list to be taken to the relevant Microsoft support page (it opens in a new Window). According to Microsoft, the XML security issue is critical. In addition, the other three patches should be applied as they are listed as Critical.
