Description
Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 2 (also called Office XP 2003 and Office 11 SP2) provides the latest updates to Microsoft Office 2003. SP2 contains significant security enhancements and stability and performance improvements. Some of the fixes included with SP2 have been previously released as separate updates. This service pack combines them into one integrated package, and it includes a number of other changes designed to improve the reliability and performance of Office 2003 programs. The updates included in SP2 are as follows:

- Update for Office 2003 French Grammar Checker: KB873381
- Office 2003 Tablet PC Update: Improved Ink Recognition
- Update for Microsoft Office InfoPath® 2003: KB887982

- Update for Office 2003: KB885828
- Update for Office 2003 French Spelling Checker and Thesaurus: KB892258
- Security Update for Word 2003: KB887979
Note: All fixes from SP1 are included with SP2, so you only need SP2 to update Office. But don't forget there may be new patches released after SP2. SP2 was released in late September 2005.
